When can my baby use the Lunalay Hammock?
Please follow the age, weight, developmental-stage, and use instructions provided with your Lunalay. The hammock is designed to transition from its infant configuration to a lower chair-swing configuration as your child grows.
Important: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for positioning, installation, supervision and when to transition your child to the lower configuration.
Can my baby sleep in the Lunalay Hammock?
Lunalay is intended to provide a gently suspended space for your baby while you are nearby and able to supervise. It should not be presented as a replacement for a crib or other approved infant sleep space.
For infant sleep, follow current safe-sleep guidance.
When Should I lower the hammock?
As your child becomes able to roll, sit, kneel, or pull themselves up, follow the manufacturer's instructions for transitioning the hammock to the lower configuration.
Please refer to your included instructions for the appropriate setup and positioning for your child's developmental stage.
Material: Does the Lunalay contain flame-retardant chemicals?
Lunalay materials are not treated with added fire-retardant chemicals.
The futon mattress and cover are made from 100% undyed cotton, and the Classic Set includes a 100% organic cotton sheet.

How long can I use the Lunalay?
Lunalay is designed to transition from an infant hammock configuration to a chair swing as your child grow.
The chair-swing configuration can be enjoyed through childhood, up to the products stated 120 lbs weight limit. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and developmental guidelines for each configuration.
Can I adjust the height?
Yes, Lunalay includes adjustable straps and chain extensions that allow you to change the hammock's height and position.
For high ceilings, Lunalay sells additional chain length by request.
Installation
How many mounting points does the Lunalay use?
For the infant configuration, Lunalay is designed to be suspended from two mounting points for stability. Always follow the included installation instructions and use appropriate hardware for your specific ceiling structure.
Can I hang the Lunalay in another room?
Yes. Additional swing-hook kits are available upon request so you can create more than one approved hanging location.
Before installing a second location, make sure the mounting point and supporting structure is appropriate for the product and follow the installation instructions.

Can I purchase additional chain?
Yes. Additional Chain is available upon request.
What is the weight limit?
